Visiting faculty positions for residents in Finland in a Business programme in Helsinki

HELBUS Helsinki School of Business seeks candidates to deliver course modules for a planned 3rd year of the BA (Hons) Business and Management -programme validated by a UK university. The programme will be delivered across two terms.

The instructors are expected to independently prepare, teach and assess their modules, adhering to the UK partner university guidelines. All modules are level 6 (3rd of an undergraduate degree), and 20 UK credits. The modules’ content, descriptions, learning outcomes and assessment criteria and schedule are determined by the validating university.

We especially seek candidates, who are resident in Finland. 

Candidates are sought for the following six modules. Detailed descriptions of the modules are found here.

  • Principles of Marketing Management
  • Accounting and Finance for managers
  • Strategic Management
  • Business Project
  • Strategic Human Resource Management
  • Business Communication

We require the following:

  • Teaching experience at undergraduate (3rd year of Bachelor’s) directly related to the module content
  • Master’s or preferably Ph.D. in business or related field
  • Excellent English skills

We value the following:

  • A formal teaching qualification
  • Sound experience in planning, delivering and assessing courses and providing feedback to students
  • Proactive approach to supporting students
  • Ties with (position in) a well-known university
  • Experience in the UK higher education sector
  • Practice experience in the relevant area
  • Structured approach with attention to detail
