We are hiring! Are you interested in helping people find out about HELBUS and achieve their dreams by starting their studies? We are seeking to hire a proactive and energetic Sales officer. Any sales experience you may have will be valuable, however, we are looking for a team member with exceptional growth-oriented motivation and attitude, and you don’t necessarily need prior experience with similar duties. 

The Sales Officer will be generating and managing sales leads, contacting prospects and encouraging them to apply to HELBUS to study. They will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team, reporting to the head of that team. The Sales Officer is expected to have full ownership of their assigned leads, supporting them during their journey in applying to HELBUS.

The detailed duties are as follows:

• Communicate with prospects by making sales calls, answering enquiries, etc 
• Process new leads and update the CRM with new prospects 
• Organise sales events such as Meet HELBUS! events, webinars, high school stands, etc.
• Participate in developing the sales team activities such as sales monitoring best practices, new lead generation, gamification, sales strategies etc 
• Marketing and event management support
• Other duties as required

Induction to the work tasks will start in early May, initially as a flexible hourly position, depending on the individual’s situation. In the summer, the position will become full-time. The position is a fixed term substitute position (perhevapaan sijaisuus) until our current sales officer returns from family leave.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree completed or soon to be completed (preferably from HELBUS)
• Excellent written and verbal Finnish and English skills

We value the following qualities:

• Experience with sales
• Proactive growth-oriented attitude with high sense of responsibility 
• Familiarity with HELBUS and the Bachelor’s programme
• Experience with CRM and lead tools is valued but not required
