HELBUS received accreditation from the largest awarding body in the UK, Pearson Edexcel, in fall 2013. As a result, it is now offering a higher education qualification known as BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma (HND), which is recognised in the UK. The HND opens up progression opportunities in top-up programs in over 40 universities in seven countries for HELBUS students.

Edexcel ensures the external verification of the HELBUS program twice a year. Quality is measured by so-called BTEC standards that have been developed to respond to requirements set by employers and professional organisations. This accreditation ensures the relevance and excellent quality of HELBUS education.
