Seeking experienced instructor for Digital Business – expired

HELBUS Helsinki School of Business seeks a qualified and experienced instructor to prepare, deliver and assess our first-year undergraduate module Digital Business in Practice to be taught on-site in February 2024. The module is a three-week intensive course (7.5 ECTS, 60 guided learning hours). The language of instruction is English. The essential content includes:

  • Emerging trends in the digital business environment
  • Effective use of digital technologies to achieve business objectives
  • Strategic planning for digital transformation within organisations
  • Mobile app design to support a digital strategy within an organisation

The position is part-time and fixed term. A more detailed module description is available here.

The module description, learning outcomes and assessment criteria are determined by Pearson Education, UK. The module is part of our undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management degree programme comprising a two-year Higher National Diploma (BTEC, Pearson Education) and a final year top-up programme in partnership with the University of Northampton, England.

We require the following:

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Recent higher education teaching experience at undergraduate level, directly related to the module content 
  • A Master’s degree or PhD in a related field
  • Excellent English skills 

Additionally, we value the following.

  • A flexible approach to teaching and learning with an emphasis on research-based interactive methods
  • Experience in the UK higher education sector
  • Practitioner experience in a relevant field in industry/business
